A Private Highland Retreat in a Wild Garden

Boath Cabin is a 21.4m² crafted retreat set within a quiet wild garden just minutes from the Moray Firth. Built by Iglucraft, its curved timber form and natural materials create an immediate sense of shelter and warmth, while generous glazing draws light deep into the living space. Every element has been carefully considered. The king-sized bedroom sits gently apart from the open-plan living area, while a built-in bunk bed provides a welcoming nook for children or additional guests, allowing the cabin to feel equally suited to couples or small families. A handcrafted kitchen and thoughtfully designed bathroom complete the space, balancing simplicity with comfort.

Full-height windows frame open fields and wide Highland skies, softening the boundary between inside and out. Positioned to feel both secluded and connected, the cabin offers stillness while remaining close to beaches, forests, golf courses, and local life. Set within a lightly managed wild garden, Boath Cabin encourages a slower rhythm, mornings shaped by shifting light, evenings grounded in quiet. It is a place designed for connection, restoration, and unhurried time in the Highlands. A considered sanctuary, with the landscape unfolding just beyond the door.

Cabin Location

Boath Cabin sits quietly on the eastern edge of Nairn, tucked just north of Auldearn and hidden from the road within open countryside. Though sheltered and private, it remains remarkably well connected, only ten minutes from Nairn train station and around 30 minutes from Inverness Airport.

Set on the skirts of the town, the cabin offers the best of both worlds: a sense of seclusion with wide Highland skies overhead, yet easy access to beaches, woodland walks, golf courses, and local eateries. The Moray Firth lies just minutes away, while the surrounding farmland and quiet lanes provide a peaceful buffer from everyday life.
